Naples, FL (September 21, 2020) –Annually, the City of Naples Water Department temporarily changes the disinfection process for the City’s potable (drinking water) water supply as part of water quality maintenance. Beginning Monday, October 5, 2020 through Monday, November 2, 2020, the Water Department will disinfect the water with free chlorine rather than combined chlorine/ammonia (chloramines).
